The process of creation

The work begins with the research on specific sites that provide quality images and the acquisition of those suitable for the chosen theme. These images have been then processed by our digital graphic system and transferred to prototypes to verify definition, colour and dimensions. After some graphic adjustments, they have been printed on paper.
The latter was then processed according to the traditional methods and then transformed into large panels. The panels were then processed in a furniture factory, which transformed them into an integral part of the furnishings of the restaurant.
The product used was a melamine-faced chipboard, a highly versatile material that can be perforated, edged and easily modified, thus allowing it to be processed in different ways.
Approximately 20 large panels (2×4 meters) with a thickness of 18 mm have been produced. Thanks to Prodigi Contract’s know-how, it was possible to print and apply a single image on each panel, without having to assemble smaller pieces of the image and so avoiding the risk of smaller parts of the image which do not coincide exactly.
